This RacingLine 1.0 TSI High Flow Turbo Inlet Elbow is one of the upgrades you need for optimal intake air flow to the turbo. This part fits in combination with your original air filter housing (which can be ideally combined with a sports panel filter). This Turbo Inlet Elbow also fits with other aftermarket air intakes and air filters.
This 1.0TSI inlet elbow is ideal when you want to apply chip tuning or have installed other hardware upgrades such as a different downpipe, turbo, intercooler or intake. The RacingLine turbo inlet is suitable for 1.0 TSI/TFSI EA211 engines after 2020 with the WLTP update . This Turbo inlet elbow is made of thin-walled aluminum and ensures very good flow of cool air to the turbo. This turbo inlet elbow also has the largest possible diameter. This increases the throttle response, because the turbo can be supplied with intake air more quickly. The power will also increase.
This upgrade is ideal to combine with both the original air filter housing and other upgrade air intakes.
Please note: the 'dent' in this turbo inlet is not damage. This was made during the development of this product by RacingLine to enable mounting. Otherwise it would not be possible to tighten the bolt on the turbo.
The installation of this turbo inlet is very simple and can be installed within 10-15 minutes. Due to the large diameter it is possible to let more air through than the original turbo inlet. The Turbo inlet is equipped with a CNC machined flange, which guarantees an optimal fit. This flange also ensures that the diameter remains larger up to the turbo and the flow will be better.

Please note : this upgrade is only suitable for 1.0 TSI/TFSI EA211 models from 2020 that were produced with the WLTP updates for emissions. Furthermore, this turbo inlet is also available in a complete intake package.
How do I know if my car is WLTP?
Before ordering this RacingLine turbo inlet, it is important to check whether or not your vehicle has the WLTP update. You can do this by looking under your hood to see if you can see the following hose as shown in the last image. If you have this hose, your car is from after 2020 with the WLTP update and this turbo inlet is suitable. If you do not have the hose, you must purchase the other RacingLine turbo inlet.
You can also check if your car has the WLTP update by looking at the logo on your car. Cars after 2020 with the WLTP update have the new 'more modern' VW badge. The earlier cars before 2020 without the WLTP update have the '3D Volkswagen badge' sticking out.
