RacingLine – Rear Tunnel Brace – MQB Platform

This rear tunnel brace replaces the original tunnel brace. This upgrade tunnel brace is a lot stiffer than the original tunnel brace, which improves the stiffness of the chassis. This improves the driving characteristics in a positive way.

In addition, this tunnel brace has the advantage that it creates a little more space around the exhaust, making it easier to mount an exhaust with a larger diameter without it rubbing.

The original tunnel brace is made of stamped sheet steel. The RacingLine version is made of 1 solid piece of aluminum and provides a higher degree of rigidity in the body. An additional advantage is that it is lighter in weight.

After installing this upgrade, you will not lose any comfort and you will not be bothered by strange noises or vibrations in the car.

Mounting this part is very simple, because the original dimensions and mounting points have been taken over.
