With this intake it is possible to choose between two types of air filters, namely a cotton air filter or a foam filter.
This RacingLine cold air intake is a replacement for the original restrictive paper air filter and the restrictive air filter housing. A major advantage of this cold air intake is that it allows more and cooler air to pass through. This air intake with associated air filter has been developed using flow simulations, which ensures an optimal supply of cold air. Due to the design of the R600 intake, cooler air is also obtained in the intake. This ensures that more power can be achieved with the engine. Both in standard version, as well as an engine with chip tuning and hardware tuning (e.g. other intercooler, downpipe, exhaust, turbo, etc.).
The volume of the air filter box is also many times larger than the original air filter box. The RacingLine R600 air filter box is equipped with all the details. For example, there is a connection for the original exhaust hose.
Precision engineered for perfect performance
The air filter box is made of PU Polyurethane. This has the advantage that it offers a heat-insulating function. This keeps the temperature in the air filter box low. You have a choice of 3 options for the cover of the R600 intake: the standard cover (plastic), carbon fiber gloss (glossy) cover or the carbon fiber matte cover . The bottom of the intake remains in all three variants of Polyurethane (plastic). The carbon fiber variants are lighter in weight.
Furthermore, you can choose a RacingLine Trifoam® foam filter or a RacingLine cotton filter . Both filters are hand-crafted and ensure optimum filtering and throughput of the intake air.
The filter box uses every original mounting point, so that a perfect fit can be guaranteed.
