This RacingLine Ignition coils (Higher Output Ignition coils) are a high-performance upgrade for the original ignition coils of various engines from the VAG. These ignition coils provide up to 10% better and more reliable performance compared to the original upgrade ignition coils that are often used (e.g. the RS3 ignition coils).
Especially at peak power these coils are a lot more reliable. They also have a sportier appearance due to the red colour.
These RacingLine upgrade coils are suitable for the 1.8 TSI EA888.3, 2.0 TSI EA888.3/3B, 2.0 TSI EA888.4, 2.5 TFSI EA855 EVO, 2.9/3.0 V6 TFSI EA839 and 4.0 V8 TFSI EA825 engines .

These R8 coils are not only more powerful than original, but they also have a sportier appearance thanks to the colours: GTI Red, Nardo grey (grey) and 'R' blue (blue).

In some cases also suitable for the 1.4 TSI engines, but then you need to take over the original rubber to make it fit.
