This RacingLine air intake is a replacement for the original restrictive paper air filter and the restrictive air filter housing. A big advantage of this cold air intake is that it more and cooler air throughput. Partly due to the design of the Trifoam foam air filter, a lot more cool air is passed through and filtered. The foam sports air filter has a larger filter surface than the original air filter. This ensures that there is more power can be achieved with the engine. Both in standard version, as well as an engine with chip tuning and hardware tuning (e.g. different intercooler, downpipe, exhaust, turbo, etc.).
The construction of the intake ensures that warm air from the engine compartment is kept away from the intake tract as much as possible.

The RacingLine VWR Cold-Air Intake system is the most complete intake package available for the 1.0 TSI EA211 engine. This intake set comes with the RacingLine Turbo Inlet Elbow which will give you a power gain. By adding the RacingLine Turbo Inlet Elbow to the 1.0 TSI RacingLine Intake system, the airflow of the entire induction system is maximized to get the most out of your car's airflow potential.
NB:
This cold air intake is NOT suitable for cars from model year 2020+ (after WLTP updates). Furthermore: if you already own the RacingLine 1.0 TSI Turbo Inlet, it is recommended to purchase the intake set without Turbo Inlet. This set (without turbo inlet) is also available in our webshop. If you do not own this turbo inlet, it is recommended to purchase this inlet as the intake does not fit without it.
